2008 China (Shenzhen) International Investment & Trade Fair will be held in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center on June 27-28, 2008, which is sponsored and hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality, China Investment Association, China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, China Council for International Investment Promotion, Shenzhen & Hong Kong Investment League jointly, and organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shenzhen Sub-Council and Shenzhen Chamber of Investment .
     The main characteristics of the fair: firstly, it is a high-level platform for investment and cooperation launched by governments and chambers of commerce jointly; secondly, it is an investment and trade fair for the enterprises in Pearl River Delta “Going Global”; thirdly, it highlights the features of projects matchmaking, negotiating and transaction completing; fourthly it provides professional services before, during and after the fair; fifthly, it is a combination of governmental guidance and market oriented operation; sixthly it stress on internationalization.
This fair consists of eight parts:
     1. Part of Regional Economy and Governmental Investment Promotion: specially to display projects of governmental investment promotion, urban development and to introduce local investment environment; to offer series of package price service for governments, as on-site displaying, special promoting, media publicizing, enterprises matchmaking and one stop service for field trip.
    2. Part of Enterprises Financing and Listing Service: to offer package price services for “Going into GEM (Growth Enterprise Market)”, coordinating specially with GEM being at hand; to provide series of services for small and medium-sized enterprises, which aim for listing in GEM.
    3. Part of International Investment and Cooperation: specially to display and introduce projects, resources, policies and investment environment of foreign countries and regions.
    4. Part of International Purchasing: to invite international purchaser to participate in the fair and negotiate for trade and cooperation with enterprises at home and abroad.
    5. Part of Investment Agencies Service: to invite chambers of commerce and associations, intermediary organizations for investment & trade, service agencies for law and accounting, and trademark, patent, franchise institutions, websites and media to participate in the fair; to meet the requirements of enterprises in an all-around way for investment and development.
    6. Series of Activities for “Shenzhen Enterprises Go Outbound”, including the Achievements Show of “Shenzhen Enterprises Go Global”.
    7. Part of Forums: specially to hold Enterprises Outbound Development Forum, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Development Forum, Chinese Growth Enterprises Market Summit, Shenzhen & Hong Kong Investment Symposium and Chinese Investment Promotion Bureaus’ Directors Summit;
